Lymphodema in leg from Lymph node removal
I am so tired of this lymphodema in my leg. It swelsl so badly. I wear Juzo high pressure stockings, keep it elevated and massage on a regular basis. Any other suggestions? I will never be able to wear regular (cute) shoes again. I know this sounds ridiculous but it means alot to me.

None of our sadness over loss of normal life activities is ridiculous. This piecemeal loss of the little things that give us pleasure is one of the worst things about cancer. Can't help you with the swelling.

I don't have an answer for you, but know I too am going through the very exact thing. If I can figure this out I will be sure to share with you. And know that I will keep you and your leg in my prayers.

I had pelvic lymph nodes removed and so far I've been ok. But, I have to admit there have been days when I felt a little swollen in the tops of my legs. I have an adjustable bed and I raise my legs at night, so maybe that helps with the swelling. But, I have neuropathy from the chemo, so I don't wear high heel shoes because I don't have good feeling in my feet.
