The metastatic portion of this says that the tumor has spread to another part of the body. Has your's spread outside the liver? To which parts? If so, it is still considered liver cancer, even though it may move to another part.

Now Dr's are supporting mutation testing of all tumors to make absolute sure its a met and not a new cancer.
