My age will not update to 68.
Asked by PaulineJ on Sunday, October 28, 2012
My age will not update to 68.
There's no option to go to ...to change your age,nor does it update automatically when you have a birthday..It makes you start from scratch to subscribe.

FreeBird
Will it let you edit the age here?:
Home
Add Experience
Edit Diagnosis Profile
Patient's Current Age
Maybe there's a built-in feature that will not let you increase you age if you do not look 68.

Sorry, can't help with this one. Every time I've tried to update anything in my profile, it ends up creating a new one. I currently have 3 different profiles and I can't delete any of them without also deleting every post I made under that particular profile so Ieave them alone.

Freebird was almost there for you.
Go to your home page
at the top where it has several experiences listed, click on one
when it shows on the next page, under it you will see "edit diagnoses"
Click that, and you will see a spot that has your age listed in it. change your age and save.
Part of the privacy features of the site are that your age is not shown "exactly" It will be a few months off unless you change it.
Let me know if this works for you.

This "edit diagnosis profile" link will be underneath all of the journey icons that you have previously placed, and under all the available icons, right above where the description of your cancer journey starts. You might have to look for it, but it's there!
I had to go look to be sure I remembered.

Greg's answer worked for me but wouldn't it be better to have a birth date field in the profile? Thanks for posting this question. I would never have figured it out on my own.
