My type of bladder cancer appears to be rare according to my oncologist. Who else has rare cancers?

What type are they? Since I've been researching my own I've come across some of the rarest cancer types. Most I've never heard of.

So far, I have had Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma - Not Otherwise Specified (X3), and Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma. 20q deletion MDS in my marrow, but I think that's a little more common. A really rare one (synovial sarcoma) claimed the life of actor Robert Urich.

Had Angiosarcoma -- cancer of the lining of a blood vessel.
Also GIST -- gastrointestinal stromal tumor

      Still kicking!

You might want to look to the NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders) website. I can say as an oncology nurse that they give me great insight to the rare cancers when literature is sparse. I hope this helps you.
