    I had a lump. In my neck. My ent did a Ct with contrast. And now I have to
    face the results usually I get this info by phone. It is a big cyst & I put it off
    what is next?

      That will obviously depend on the findings from the CT. That is what's next.

      Sounds like my story 2.5 years ago. Mine was Stage III Throat Cancer. Treatment for me was Radiation, Chemo and surgery. That may sound hard. However it was over in six months, I am now cancer free for two years and life is better than ever. Good luck!

      Depending upon the results from the CT scan, they may want to do a fine needle aspiration. It is relatively painless. The doctors will want to take some fluid from the cyst to see if there are any cancer cells. If the results are positive, after the FNA they should follow up with a PET scan. It is important not to jump to conclusions, let's see what happens.
