Is this common in the face and limbs with alcoholics?

I don't know but it is entirely possible.
Alcoholics aren't famous for taking good care of themselves.

Are you undergoing chemo? If so, Neuropathy is common for everyone. It's nerve damage from the chemo. They can give you medication for this.
