I'll bet you have a question about or need to know about neuropathy. Here is an article we recently posted about it, what causes it and some remedies https://www.whatnext.com/blog/posts/what-is-chemo-induced-peripheral-neuropathy

Frequently asked: will the neuropathy improve?

      1. Yes
      2. No
      3. Maybe

Generally it does, but not in every case. I found that working with my hands and using my feet seemed to stimulate/force the healing and regeneration of nerve function. My hands have done far better than my feet.

Prevention? During treatment (especially with drugs known for producing neuropathy), keeping hands and feet cold so as to reduce circulation (less circulation means less nerve-damaging chemo flowing through the hands and feet) can help. If you are having difficulties in this regard, you might ask for a referral to a neurologist.
