    Nexavar, Yes or No?

If you have been on Nexavar (sorafenib), did you ever come to the point that you had to decide to stay on it or stop? My wife and I are facing that question right now. For us it has become a question of Quality of life verses Longevity.

My husband has been taking Nexavar (800 mg/day) since October 2014. He is at this moment at the wound care clinic at our academic hospital. He has such severe reactions (rash that turns to open sores) that he has been not able to get out of bed for 3 days. But, other than that, he is mentally ok and he says if it weren't for the pain from the sores, he would feel fine. We continue on with the Nexavar because it is keeping his liver cancer stable. My best to you and your family. What sort of problems are you having? There may be some folks on this site that might be able to offer some remedies.

heltonchs, Thanks for the comment. I posted a message on your page.
For evryone else my wife and I have decided to discontinue the Nexar. It was a very hard decision, but once God gave me a peace about it, it was a no brainer. We want quality over longevity.
