    Pain from implants

How long does the pain last after exchange surgery? I had my expander removed and replaced with an implant. It's been almost three weeks and breasts still very sore.

Everyone is different during their recovery, but I think it is time for you to see your surgeon.
Have you been wearing a supportive bra? That might help with your discomfort, but still the one you should be asking is the surgeon

Hi! :) I had my implant surgery Dec. 27th 2012 and I'm still sore here and there especially depending on what I'm doing lifting, pushing. I just went to see my reconstructive doctor for check up and he says all just takes time. I'm like ok. :)

Implant surgery was a non issue (both breasts). What hurt some was the area where they suctioned fat off for a fat implant. I was told that as the mastectomy severed so many nerves, it was common for there not o be that much feeling in the skin (oh my implants were placed 7 months after my first surgery, had to wait for chemo to be over. Maybe pain is different for those that have it sooner?).
