Did you ask your doctor about what can be done differently to alleviate that pain? What are they doing for it right now?

      Hope you find relief soon.

Bone cancer pain is the most misunderstood pain. I am an oncology nurse and I can tell you from experience both in oncology and in pain management that the only thing that works on bone pain is an NSAID. Try taking Advil for the pain. Best of luck to you, Carm RN.

The only place I did not hurt was my eyebrows and sometimes I think I misremember that lack of pain.

When it was all over and I was asked to describe yadda yadda based on a scale of 1-10 there was no way I could do it. How can one describe such feelings after you've been to number quadzillion and seven.

They don't keep scales for that people are put through.

If this keeps you going, the pain will disappear and in spite of the memory lingering you will forget how it actually felt once you are healing.

Do you have primary bone cancer or did it metastasize from another origin. I had my armed replaced with a prosthetic humerus and I now feel pain from that. Please let me know if I can help.
