I never had any pain. Mine was found when they removed a polyp that was discovered at my six week postpartum check-up. I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't of had my son when I did.

I found out that I had ovarian cancer because of pain in my lower abdomen. I thought it was possibly an appendicitis.

I had abdominal pain once, this was back in January 2011. We were up in the mountains playing in the snow when all of a sudden I got what seemed to be really really and I mean REALLY bad cramps. I had just started my period a day earlier so I didn't think anything about it. I stayed in the car while my boyfriend, kids and our friends played in the snow. On the drive down the mountain we stopped at a gas station and I bought some extra strength Tylenol. The pain went away after that. I didn't experience anything like that again. My periods progressively got heavier and longer to the point of non stop bleeding. That's when I knew something was wrong. I had always had heavy periods since I was a teenager so that in itself did not raise a red flag.

I never had pain. I had a biopsy after my six week check up as well. Like highwaygirl, I would have never known if I hadn't had my daughter.

Before or after treatments Mskitty? I had HORRIBLE pain when I had CC..I had stage IIB..they didn't find my cancer on a pap. I fought for many months until they agreed to proceed with more testing.
