    Papaverine injections for erectile dysfunction

Cialis and Siagra have not been effective 15 months post surgery - although they have shown _partial_ effectiveness. Urologist suggest papaverine injections.

Anyone have experience with this? Ease of use, pain, "ick" factor from spouse?

I'll be following this topic...I had a prostectomy in December...pretty recent, but so far Cialis has had almost no effect...a little..but not really significant. I may be the same as you in 15 months so curious about all treatment possibilities.

fusilier: I had some experience with the injections. This was after my prostatectomy, radiation and going on 2 hormone drugs. That experience was a mixed review for me. I think when you are on hormones, it is difficult to overcome that and not have ed. I did find some success with the injections (I think it was called tri-med and was kept refrigd) I gave myself the injections and the response was moderately effective. I used that med for several months. I discontinued as I disliked giving myself the injections and had some bruising. I wish my responses were more encouraging. I keep hearing comments about "use it or lose it" but it is difficult when there is such a diconnect from the brain to the XXX. Best wishes, a survivor, Ross
