    Pet scan revisited

Did anyone have a pet scan for BAC and did it show anything?

CT scans are more sensitive to Lung cancers as are Life broncoscopies. PT's can show a lot of false positives.

BAC is one of the easiest to clear lung cancers because it is very differentiated and because it rarely metastasizes. Most often it is a watchful wait scenario because it has the propensity to resolve on its own. Best of luck to you, Carm RN.

Yes I had a pet scan after my Dr. verified I had lung cancer, 1st option was to have surgery and remove the upper lobe of my left lung. After pet scan found the lympth nodes in my chest were hot for cancer, surgery was out and I started a long round of Chemo, And radiation, and of course very serious PRAYER. I prayed for a cure ( Believing ) and By the Grace of God, I received it. I am now CANCER FREE. I pray for all cancer patients now.
