Please pray for me: Whipple on Monday Morning

I'm leaving soon for Charlotte, NC, about a 4 hour drive to the hospital. Having my pre-ops today and surgery is scheduled for early Monday morning. I'm scared. Your prayers will help. Thank you. Elaine

My prayers are with you. I had the Whipple done in February and although it is a major operation, it is not as bad as I had built it up in my mind to be. Take 1 day at a time and enjoy the progress made that day. Remember you are in God's hands and he will take care of you.

Prayers to you! Mine was one year ago yesterday. Try to sit up when allowed and walk as often as you are able. You will have good days and bad, but the good will start outweighing the bad. I'm back full time at work, have gained weight and am living my life with a better realization to live for today. So can say life is even better after this experience.
