    Post-Partial Thyroidectomy, Feeling Crummy?

I am now almost 3 weeks post op on my left lobe thyroidectomy. After surgery, all my levels were seemingly normal according to nurses and my doctor. (A week ago was when I received my diagnosis of thyroid cancer, and will have to go in for a TT beginning of January.) Starting yesterday, I started feeling tired, sluggish... almost similar to the way I felt one week post op. Today, my muscles are sore, my jaw feels tight and I just feel like absolute garbage. Is this normal? I know I should consult my doctor, but anyone else have similar feelings post-partial? I was never and am still not on any thyroid meds, all I know is I feel slightly different than pre-thyroidectomy....

I would definitely call your doctor. If you were feeling better and all of a sudden not feeling well again, there could be something going on. It never hurts to be extra careful.
