    Prayer request,

I'm an NET rare cancer patient. Today I go to a new to me ortho guy to see what he says about my hip! Side effect of the drug I'm on is arthritis- multiple scans last year showed an unidentified dense mass- between shaft & head of thigh where it connects to hip!- I'm sure he'll order another round of scans.... Then what!! Just pray it's not cancer that has further metastasized!

If you are willing to try something unorthodox, you can begin to aleviate the arthritic symptoms.

Half a dozen daily cherries, two cups of mixed berries, and a cup of sprouts (young plants) will go a long way to relieving the symptomology of the arthritis.

A plant called mullein is an anti-inflammatory. Along with marshmallow (slight antiseptic) and passion flower (anti fungal) all are dried leaves which can be mixed together for tea and relief with a dab of honey to sweeten the brew. If you have interest, I'll give you proportions so you can try it. The worst which can happen is that you get some tasty food and nice, relaxing tea. You need to drink about 4 cups per day.

It will take about 10+ days for any effect. About another day for you to tell yourself it is silly and stop and then two more days for the pains to come back so you realize you actually were getting some relief.

Mom Nature works gradually. She doesn't use bullets, magical or otherwise.

Best wishes for a simple and benign outcome regarding these tests.

I am late in wishing you well, but I hope that your scans will show that the cancer has NOT metastasized!!!

Hi Beeps, I am thinking of you and praying that all works out. I am a firm believer in the amazing healing powers of natural foods. Look into what Geekling has shared. Try it. It can't hurt. I always poo poo these natural things Until Dr.s couldn't help me. And I got myself into remission using the healing powers of Nature. Keep the faith

You have my prayers and good thoughts. Have you looked into Curcumin (anti-inflamatory) for the arthritis? Google it for arthritis. It seems to be excellent. Be sure to buy Meriva Curcumin as it is much more bio-available. There is no downside to this herb. It is also very good for cancer and has no side effects.

As expected, the dr ordered 2 MRIs- 1- hip, 1-femor -
So one is Saturday and the other next Wed. Then... Have to wait 2 see Dr for results... We all know the waiting game!
I liked this ortho guy & his demeanor! Yay!!!
He did however, bring up that I'm high risk because of my rare cancer etc
Thank you sincerely for your prayers & concerns!!! BTW- yes, I already do lots of natural anti-inflammatory supplements, foods, & etc. I think they do help- however- I still have lots of pain.
Joint pain & arthritis is a known side effect of the anti- proliferate tumor drug I get injections of once a month- no growth in 3 1/2 yrs... Can't argue w/ those results...
So - prayers for the next two MRI's!!! For coping with them & good reads!!!
