He will most likely get a break in-between chemo treatments. When I was on chemo, I received it 5 days per week and then got two weeks off to recover from it. This was over the course of 12 weeks. I was not a candidate for radiation due to the size and location of my tumors. Your husband has a rough road ahead of him but he can do this!!

I do know of some people who had constant chemo for 6 weeks at a stretch for colorectal cancers, so yes, this sounds right.

Hi,I have chemo and radiation every day.I am on #24 out of 27-but I take chemo pills (xeloda). All my side effects have been minimal and that may be due to the fact I am about his age.. Also,my docs say I am receiving low doses.
