Radiation Side Effects
Asked by cearnsha on Tuesday, May 28, 2013
Radiation Side Effects
I'm getting external radiation to remove cancer from bone in my back, and to shrink a swollen lymph node in my neck. I'd like to hear peoples' experience with radiation and side effects. I feel additional fatigue, and some achiness so far.

Fatigue is a common side effect of radiation. I had 25 treatments to my neck. By the second week I had to go home and take a nap. Some burning may happen too, use some cream, the center will give you some or suggest some just ask them. Also, depending on where you get hit with the radiation you will have other side effects.
