I do not participate in that particular program, but I am a peer counselor and patient advocate for people with cancer.

Hi Nellie, congratulations on taking that step! Volunteering to help others can be a big help in your own recovery, while helping others. I volunteer for ACS also, I am a Hero Of Hope Speaker, I travel a couple states in my area speaking to Relay for LIfe groups, civic groups, etc. I speak at a lot of Relay Survivor Dinners and Relay events, kickoffs, team captain universities or any function they need me for really.

      You will probably enjoy it.

Thank you GregP! I just want to listen and help people through their journey. I had a wonderful support system, but I still felt "alone" sometimes. You are a busy man!!
