I had a synthetic wig with a mesh cap so it was more comfortable - also more expensive. Thought insurance was going to cover it, then it came under my deductible - but check your insurance anyway. I had asked a hairdresser friend of mine and her comment was a real hair wig was just like your hair, you would have to style it, weather affected it, etc. I could put mine on, straighten it up a bit and was good to go. When I was done with it, I donated it to American Cancer Society. I've had others tell me they got cheaper wigs and had fun with multiple ones.

Bald with hats and scarves. I had synthetic wigs, but they just ended up itching or being too hot in the summer. I spent most of my time in the hospital for treatment, anyway, so it didn't matter that much. My cute hat collection because pretty extensive, though!
