    Recurring Cancer

Has there ever been anyone who has had breast cancer and taken Chemo, that the cancer has never came back in some other place in their body? because I haven't met anyone who said it hasn't.

Excellent question. I would like to hear examples of this, too. It seems like all the "survivors" I meet have had one or more recurrences and series of treatments. I don't think living as a perpetual "patient" is the kind of victory I'm hoping for.

But, as I said before, if you don't get a lot of replies to this question it doesn't mean there aren't a lot of former cancer patients out there living cancer-free lives. It's just that a lot of these people have moved on and aren't actively participating in these type of forums.
