Second opinion in childhood astrocytoma brain stem tumor

I'm a NHL survivor. I'm trying to help out my best friend. Her nephew has a tumor that didn't have complete response with 1st chemo tried. Does anyone know a doctor or hospital that specializes in astrocytoma brain stem tumors? He has started seeing double and stumbling again.

I would go to a large, regional research and treatment facility that offers clinical trials as part of their daily operation. Think MD Anderson, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Dana Farber or Fred Hutchinson. Some travel expense and inconvenience are well worth the hope that might very well be provided. At this point, there is nothing to lose with a second opinion, and everything to gain.
