Someone asked how my week was, it depends on what I compare it to.

Someone asked how my week was, it depends on what I compare it to.
Some people consider it a good week if they woke up every day. Others if their wine wasn't warm. What was your biggest problem this week?

Hottest week of the year here - got up over 95 four days out of the five - my problem? Paying for the air conditioning to stay cool. Not that big of a problem.

Like JaneA, who also lives in GA, my ac unit hardly stopped. I am not looking forward to my next electric bill which, fortunately for me, is levelized. Even though I am on that plan some months whether it be Winter or Summer can be extremely high. This is one of those months. If this had been asked 2 weeks ago I would have complained about my Gastroenterologist (since 2015)refusing to perform a colonoscopy until 2020 even though my Oncologist let it be known that I should get one. All but one time in the past there were polyps (once 3). All were benign when sent off for testing. Have just found another Gastro doctor with excellent schooling and reputation. Met with him on Thursday after he spoke to my Oncologist and I was given my prep list. Just waiting for the date. The prep and procedure will be the new "problem" - but a necessary one.

The roadblocks I place in my own way. I lacerated both arms in a freak pedestrian accident (I was the freak) and I suspect that it caused my skin-related GvHD (Graft-Versus-Host-Disease) to flare - which means that we have to beat it back down. Not the first time I have had to think, "With a friend like myself, who needs enemies?"

My week was all over the place, but wnded well. Husband was in the hospital with a blockage, which was a tumor. Likely recurrent pancreatic cancer. He is home now, so that is a plus. My broken leg is very swollen but all the hardware is in the right place and it doesn't appear to be infected, also a plus. I signed up for a clinical trial and my pet scan only shows on new tumor in my lung, less than a cm in size. Also good news.
