I have been happily getting good reports from all three doctors for 2 years since my surgery. Untill last week. One of my lab results has been too high, two times in a row. So, had an ultrasound of the neck that week. The waiting to get the results is a killer, isn't it? I'm the one who tries to have a positve attitude and I have since I was first told I had a cyst on my thyroid. But this has me down in the dumps! I will find my happy spot sooner or later. And I will deal with a bad result, if that happens. But I do not like feeling like I have no control!

Spunky here again. I had good news, the ultrasound was negative. Yippee. But Dr wants to check blood work more frequently. I can do that. You guys are great. This site is great. Reading the encouraging posts, knowing you know what it's really like, is so helpful.I have wrote on others posts, trying to be helpful. It is nice to be on the receiving end of these posts when I need it.
