Today is American cancer survivor day, why for my purple profile on FB, Dustin my husband and those who fought the monster of disease who have passed are survivor, when the call came to us after his diagnosis he has 6 months, he fought it for a year. Yes he kicked it XXX 6 more months in fear, in weakness tired and pain. 6 more months he fought it how I and everyone saw him as fighter, courage and faith. I love u babe miss u every min, I love and miss for who has passed, prayers for those fighting and don't give up hope

Love to all who have fought this battle, survivors, caregivers, medical staff who suffer along with us.

Sorry for your loss, it's a hard thing to go through even as a caregiver. I lost both Mom and Dad to cancer as well as being a survivor of 3 Dx's, I've often said it's harder being a caregiver than a patient. Thanks for posting.
