    Support for men with cancer

Hi all. I am a cancer survivor (testicular, non-seminoma, surgery and radiation) of 10 years.

Following my diagnosis, I was not offered any type of psychological or social support. I am now a doctoral student in psychology, researching the support available, offered and used by men with a cancer diagnosis. I am working on my thesis and studying how a man views himself with respect to traditional masculine roles may impact the support he seeks or uses. My goal is to improve support access and offerings to men with a cancer diagnosis. If you can help me in my research, I would be very grateful. Please take my survey (15-20 minutes) at your convenience if you would like to help me out!

    thank you!

Just wanted to congratulate you on your journey and to say cudos to you for your research topic. I think men carry a different set of burdens and I'm glad to see additional focus. Best of luck to you and your participants.
