Call the American Cancer Society or get on there website from the link on this page and you can do a live "chat" with one of their representatives.

How do I find a support group for brain cancer in my area? There are probably many things that I need to know.

Support groups usually aren't that specific. Are you looking for medical information about your specific type of cancer? If so, a support group is probably not what you are looking for. Support groups are more for sharing emotional and practical issues related to dealing with cancer rather than being information providers about specific types of cancer.
For specific information regarding brain cancer
ask you oncologist what information resources he as available, both informational and emotional. Most support groups provide a flyer or other information to doctors' offices.
click the resources tab at the top right of this page for information specific to your location and cancer type.
The best place is the American Brain Tumor Association. They are located in Chicago, but they offer resources and a search for groups by state. Here is the link to the support group search.
