Surviving Leukemia without a BMT???
My doctor agrees that without treatment one would not survive AML for more than 3-4 months. I cannot get a prognosis of more than 3 yrs or so without a transplant. Is there anyone out there more than 3 yrs surviving without a transplant? I havent found a match yet at 2 yrs 2 mos and am enduring monthly chemo, which can't last forever....

I had different cancers so I am unable to help. You might try calling the American Cancer Society for info. You can also click on the purple button on the bottom right side of this page. I wish you the best.
