I'm so sorry to hear this. I have had cancer spread to my bones and find it quite uncomfortable. I hope you are comfortable. Because of my cancer type, there are no good treatments available to stop it's progression. I'm going into a clinical trial. But each cancer is different, some, from my understanding respond very well to treatment even after spreading to the bones.

My husband's cancer spread to his hip and femur.. he got hip and femur replacement, then got radiation to that area. That seemed to help with all of the hip pain for a few years. Then he got chemo injections .. he would get a shot called Xgeva once a month to help strengthen the bones

Not really. You just can't go to the Dentist while you are being treated with It

Metastatic Prostate Cancer stage 4 cannot be cured...the Adenocarcinoma migrates to the bone environment , it can be treated with spot radiation to Aleve painful lessons along with HDT, once castrate resistant Zytiga and Xgeva are prescribed treatments, be careful and watch for jaw osteoporosis when on Xgeva.

Usually clinical trials are put off to last..there is radiation.
      Chemo pills..or more chemo infusions

My prostate cancer metastasis is in my spine and hip bone. I have just completed SBRT radiation treatment at UCSF to both areas and the cancer is destroyed in both areas. As I have stage 4 with remote metastasis I will now see where my PSA levels go and determine next steps from there when it is appropriate to do so.
