    This question stems from complications following colon surgury and reastamosis...did anyone else have the complication of peritonitis?

    could anything cause this besides incomplete ,or leaky,binding at the surigal site? HAPPY TO BE HERE AT CHRISTMAS,almost wasnt...thanks CATH Thank GOD for the nurses

      My surgical incision opened right away and became infected when I had IP chemo 24 hours post-op. I was reconnected in 3 places, and had no leakage issues or complications with the reastamoses. Everything works perfectly. A different situation, as my peritonitis was a chemical peritonitis.
