    Time to die

A large dose of reality. As you know, I have stage IV colon cancer, mets to liver and lungs. Currently active in the lungs. Yesterday I was at the oncologist for a visit and chemo. I have a wonderful relationship with my doctor and chemo nurse and truly believe they have saved my life. I am very grateful for them. After going over some issues yesterday, my doctor told me that her and her team were pleasantly surprised that I was still alive, and that whatever time I have left is a precious gift. She told me that she believes that my attitude is what keeps me going. This wasn't a surprise to me, I knew that I was past my expiration or at least getting close. It was just hard to hear.

However, I decided to make the best of it. Whether I have one month or 10 years left I'm going to do my best to be happy, have fun, enjoy life, dance, sing, relax on the beach, enjoy festivals (there are a lot in my area) go to concerts, be with my family, and just live the best that I can.
