    Tissue donation

has anyone with a rare cancer considered tissue donation to help with research? I am wondering how one goes about it. I found one at Stanford but it was from 2013. Anyone looked into this?

I was asked if i wanted to donate tissue from my biopsy. It was through a clinical trial of sorts.

Thank you for being willing to donate. I hope you find out how to do it!

I donated all my tissue from my esophagectomy as well giving permission for the operation to be filmed for study also all medical records. These were separated from my name by some sort of encryption. The hospital asked me to do this and handled all identity issues.

I think you need to do it through clinical trials which are in University hospitals. They use it for research. Good Luck with this! ☼
