Does anyone know of online sites to sign up for gas cards for cancer treatments?

Here is a list of different types of resources available for cancer patients that we compiled a few years ago. I think I remember there being a link in it for gas cards. Take a look here http://bit.ly/1CSwqDh

When I called the American Cancer Society about something else, they were pushing gas cards. I didn't feel comfortable accepting, because I was only like 3 miles from my treatment center. But you could try there.

The ACS also has volunteer drivers who will drive you to appointments.

And many hospitals have a bus or van service that will pick up and take you to chemo or radiation. Mine had a van service that would pick me up and take me to radiation and then home again. It was so nice to get in a nice warm van and be driven to treatment. And the service was free!

Just throwing this idea out there. I know money was very tight after my son's accident and my cancer.

I have a 2 hour round trip for my treatments. The American Cancer Society doesn't have any drivers available where I live, nor does the Office of the Aging. I drive myself both ways. (live in a very country area)
