    Thanks, Freebird, for the extensive information and suggestions. I've already begun to follow them and have scheduled an appointment with a Johns Hopkins doctor for a second opinion and treatment recommendations. Meanwhile, I'll be having a full budy bone scan sometime this week to check on possibilities of further spreading. Depending on the results of that scan, doctors will figure out what - if anything - can be done. Probably, it would be more chemo, but using different drugs than the Gemzar. The oncologist I saw yesterday mentioned some of the chemo drugs you also mentioned. So, now, it's a matter of seeing how bad things really are, then trying to figure out the best course of action. For now, I'm trying to stay positive and continue to approach this setback with a "fighting mode". Thanks again, JMS
