    Update....on ME

I got sepsis pneumonia 10 weeks ago and was in the hospital for 13 days. It made my legs weak again so I wound up in a rehab facility for 2 months. Originally my legs became after my cancer was impinging on my sciatic nerve and needed Radiation....Home since last night and can now walk good with a walker and soon with no walker....I can drive....Tough year and I don't know how much longer I have. One lung Doc said about 5 months but I don't feel like I'm dying.......Check out my song "A TIME TO LIVE AND A TIME TO DIE" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-6hgagZYQ4 Barry

So...glad to hear from you Barry! Know you're glad to be in our own space and will be slowly building up that leg strength. Amazing how fast it's depleted when we are down. Walkers are cool little tools that help with balance and get ya' moving! I had to use one for several months after my chemo and radiation - had sciatica as well and got some shots in my spine which helped. Don't be a hero - go slow - You are so important to so many...

Hi boomer. Glad you are out of rehab.

If you dont feel like you are dying .. Live!

Why not ask for home physical therapy? If you can drive, go to a center where you can be around other folks who are struggling like you.

Do your best, please, to take good care of yourself. Everybody has their pauses. Nobody is perfect. I developed a hankering for organic ready made basil pizza with nut cheese at the frozen section of the market. I KNOW it is not what I need but it is a real fight with myself to not buy it. If it is in the house, I eat it.

There has been none in the house since the holidays began. I expect I will struggle and maybe even fall off the wagon again.

A neighbor just trimmed the moringa trees for me. Fresh moringa is great stuff so I am hoping it will help me to revive/stay alive/ignore storebought frozen pizza.

      Best wishes.
