Lol. That is wonderful. I can hardly believe the swelling went down so quickly.

      Be kind to yourself.

      Best wishes

That's Good news Greg. I'm glad that your medical care is proceeding better than mine. Just how is Donna doing?

Geekling--swelling doesn't make any difference for me-- but leg- probably a lot-4 miles-- Just don't over-do it.

My issues right now are w/my car, not me. Just because it moves forward when my foot is squished on the brake, and the dealership can't figure out why. Third time is the charm! At least it's just a hunk of metal causing trouble and not a hunk of me! Meyati! I'm glad you are starting speech therapy. I hope it helps you get your voice back. Greg! Keep us informed on how your Sweetie is doing. Geekling! Keep on truckin'.

I so know what you mean Shelly--We don't want you in any type of car wreck. That's such a bummer. The thought is scarey too.

I used to live about a 100 miles out. We got a new Chevy SS. I went to the AF base and bought groceries. I opened the trunk and a bag of frozen foods was burning-air-flame up. After that, they did a recall-fixed the light switch. We had friends that complained about the battery being dead- and the dealers were meh--whatever. But my husband took the paper bag in, and told them they were lucky the frozen food was in that bag. Chevy dealer did decide that the TP probably would have burnt in a few more miles. Car dealers and companies---

Do you know too many other people that had a bag of frozen food on fire?

I hope that it's fixed now---I don't think that we want our favorite Buckeye in the hospital.

I got the wrong day-----I confess that I'm a ditz-----Levi is starting up a dojo-lots of phone calls-running around--Stonewall has a cut on his nose and we see the vet first thing in the morning-He's had it about 5 days, and his nose is getting creepy. I noticed it last night. -I am sure of that-since tomorrow is Friday-- So it hyas to be tomorrow. Then my house was a staging area for the family trip to the Gulf Coast--phone calls- people running in and out--loading-unloading---Enterprise couldn't get the right car on hand-and the reservations were made last month. They tried to palm a pickup truck off--- NEWS Alert - Only 2 people can sit in a truck's front seat. News Alert-if a person drives straight through and doesn't hit detours and drives 90 mph- it takes 24 hours from here to there----everybody should be comfortable and not worry too much about the fishing poles being stolen while traveling--That's why my son makes an early reservation for a comfy sedan.

Anyway- I'm a ditz-- at least I didn't drive out there today---It helped that first thing this morning the office called up to register me on the phone for my first appt. April 25. Really April 25. I told them it hurts to talk-I lose parts of words- they dissappear into some sound purgatory where lost words never reach an ear. They said- I had to do this on the phone-- I hissed and sceeched-- This is for a speech pathologist--because I have a hard time talking-words disappear- Then I hung up.

Oh my. I wonder why nothing can just be simple any more!!

The Gulf trip sounds like fun! When are you guys leaving? I presume you will be back home by the 25th!!

I sure hope Stonewall is going to be okay!! Will the hounds go to the Gulf, too?

I don't go to the Gulf-the rest of the family goes-----I've been told that I will be shot on sight, as I murdered Aunt Gladys.

She asked me if she refused medical care, would Jesus think it was suicide, and would her soul be condemned for committing the unforgiveable sin. Poor dear was in her 80s, and her 2nd pacemaker was going out, and I think her 4th knee was going. She sat and cried how she didn't have the strength for any more surgery, and she was crying at night in thinking how painful physicl therapy was for her knees.

I asked her if she was ready to meet her God? Yes. I asked her if this had happened to her in the 1970s, woud she have lived or died? Died. I asked her if she thought that doctors were trying to take the place of god? Yes.

I explained about a DNR, and federal law said her DNR had to be respected. I came home and she called me a week later that she had a DNR, and her doctor was happy, but he had been scared to talk to her about it- She went in for a Dr. visit 2 months later and had the heart attack. The doctor made her comfortable and she passed quietly and peacefully. The family accused the doctor of murder-as did her pastor. How did she find out about a DNR---MEYATI--so they didn't shoot or hang the doctor-- but I have been warned.

I'd much rather be here than be with them-- Really. I don't have many pleasant memories of being there. I just worked with horses, carried my guns, and herded cattle-- That was just fine with me. In-laws--

A speech therapist can really help after cancer. I had one for a while after chemo because I was having trouble making conversations. I just simply couldn't remember words. After testing to see where I was, she gave me tools to use so that I could figure out what I wanted to say. It was worth going to see a speech therapist that was used to dealing with chemo brain.

I am so happy you finally found a Speech Therapist. Now you must do all the exercises he/she prescribes. My speech therapist was an ex-opera singer. She incorporated singers warm-ups in her regimen

It wasn't finding a speech therapist--it was GETTING A REFERRAL--THEM IGNORING ME__malpractice when I was injured while unconscious in their care--taking days and days of them hanging up on my son when he tried to get an appointment for the most basic care----If they really thought what they said to my son about him interfering with my medical-trying to steal my ID-abusing me-- WHY DIDN'T THEY CALL THE POLICE FOR A WELFARE CHECK?
