    Using curcumin during radiation

Has anyone heard of using curcumin to help prevent burning during radiation? I found one study on mice but I couldn't find anything else. I am going to ask my doctors about this. I have one more chemo treatment and will be doing radiation next and was just wanting to find things to help with side effects of radiation.

My Radiologist gave me a great gel two huge tubes. The stuff is great. I had high dose rad. for 7 weeks. I didn't have an ounce of burned skin. But make sure you have the softest sheets in the house on the bed. I found I would chafe easily if I didn't use my ultra good sheets. I took cool showers and did the gel even more than required and I did really well.
