    Waiting for surgery

We are now waiting on the surgery date trying to forget about it since it is several weeks off. Since it was so stessful waiting the last few weeks. We feel exhausted.

what helped me in the wait was knowing i trusted my decision and my doctor. i spent my time
doing my normal daily things and keeping up with my activities. the most frustrating time was when i was alone and had time to think. try to concentrate on the plans for recovery ... it makes the time go by faster...

      best wishes

My husband is scheduled for 6/2 and we are also holding our breath waiting for surgery and the aftermath. I am trying to get my husband to do some meditation as he isn't sleeping very well. Good luck with your husband's surgery!

I have been unable to sleep much at all this week. I think it is settling in what we are facing. I would much prefer it to be me it is so hard watching him go thru this. It is catching up to me and the waiting is bad. My poor stomach will never be the same. I did go to my Dr and she was very supportive. She said we will get thru this and after your husband is better we will go into your issues. She knew I could not handle any more.
