Myoepithelial carcinoma (MC) is a cancer of myoepithelial cells that are found in salivary, sweat and mammary glands. Did you have a specific question?

In 2007 I had it and had half of my left parotid was removed. The surgery was quite straight forward and the recovery presented no problems. It took almost six weeks to identify the type of cancer.
I've been scanned every six weeks for the last 3 1/2 years for melanoma with no problems with my parotid.
Let me know if I can give you any more information. Good luck.

I know what iti is, my 21 year old son has it in his thigh. No surgery is possible because it has metasticised. Would like to hear of any survivor stories if any.
