Hi Donna. I had my last chemo treatment on April 25, 2012. I was stage III Ovarian. Have had two CT scans which were good results and C125 which was 12 when I finished chemo and is now 20. Oncologist says they don't worry about that unless it is sudden change or goes above 35. My other blood work #'s have gone back to almost pre-chemo. Had to have a temporary colostomy in December of 2012 and am told that after a year of no chemo and good test results, I can get the reversal.

Hi Donna... I was 62 when diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer. The gynecologic oncologist surgeon did the removal of a 39 pound right ovary and a healthy left ovary. He then removed all the cancer he could see on the intestine and eurethea. He upgraded me to Stage IIIC. Then we did chemo - though PET Scans showed no cancer.. we did chemo for almost two years. First year I/V and I/P infusions... Day 1 I/V infusion, Day 2 and Day 8 I/P infusions.. Wait till day 28... and Start over on 29th Day becoming Day 1/ When I had complete six of this cycles.. I was changed to once a month for 12 months.

If you have this question, and it bothers you... I'd make a appointment with your oncologist and have him/her give you their interpretation of what they are doing. If they're saying remission. is cancer free... Lets Dance. Please post back and let me know. I've been cancer free for 7 years, but I know this is a tricky cancer.... I keep getting checked every six months now and I push it back in my thought process and many days give it no thought what so ever. Yesterday was 7 years exactly. and I didn't remember it until today.

My last chemo treatment was 17 March 2011. All my CT scans and C125 results have been good since then with no evidence of cancer.
