    What is focal cryoablation? What are the side effects? Any firsthand insights?

    This has been suggested as a possible treatment.

      Hey Todd,
      I hope this finds you well. Focal cryoablation is a technique now widely tested in the prostate cancer community where either a portion of your tumor or the entire tumor can be destroyed by freezing it, a technique called croablation where a small probe is inserted into the tumor, like a fine needle, and the temperature is reduced to a freeze state which kills off the cells. It is minimally invasive and has little or no side effects. Best of luck to you, Carm RN.
