I've always gotten the Zoladex in the belly and due to the size of the needle usually get a pretty big bruise. They give me the Xgeva in the arm. Never had any problems and the side effects haven't been hard to deal with.

Keep it positive and smile :)

I received 45 cc (six month) Eligard shots just above the buttocks, below the waist, just at the belt line. Not painful but left a lump that took 2-3 weeks to disapate.

Lupron goes in the butt and I get that every 6 months. Xgeva is monthly in upper arm. Neither are a problem for me. Casadex is a daily pill. Good luck in the journey. Ross

Zoladex is like a grain of rice, my J gets a deadner in his belly first. If they rush it, it hurts.

Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering why I get them in different places. I think the nurses have a favorite place they like to give it, and that's where they do each time.
