What treatment is to be given if gemox-r treatment fails in refractory DLBCL

My Father in law is suffering from DLBCL. He was given R_CHOP And then RMINE. however the disease free period hardly lasts 3 months. Now he has enlarged nodes in chest, thighs and legs.He is being given Gemox-R and has undergone second dose . however the nodes are still increasing. Please suggest any new or alternate drug

I cannot answer your question as I am not a doctor. I can tell you that there are a lots of treatment options out there. There are clinical trials ongoing all the time. I have had four occurrences DLBCL and four difference treatments over the last twelve years. All of these have provided remission. Every person is unique and reacts differently to treatment. I suggest you ask your doctor about treatment options. You do have the option of a second opinion.
