As much as I hate this diesase and what it does to lives and even how it changed my life completely. I say - which I have all along "Thank you cancer for making me aware of my body".

I promise that with every bit of fight I have, I will work to find a cure. You came to our lives 2 1/2 years ago, when my husband walked out of that test and the doctor said he 'saw something.' From then on cancer, my life has changed forever. Although I have found strength and fight that I never thought I have, this was not a gift from you, it was a war that you decided to have with my husband, my family and so many that I love. But I promise you cancer, that this is a war that will never end until you are defeated. And I promise you, You Will Be Defeated!

Throughout history man has had to face killing diseases, plagues and disasters of all types. Many of the killing diseases have been conquered like polio. Today cancer stands as one of the biggest killers, but look at the progress that has been made in recent years. I feel that I alive today because of great advances in treatments.

Truly it hard to be positive and thankful when we are suffering through treatments, but ask for loved ones around you to help add hope and prayers on your behalf when you feel alone and lost.

I can only hope and pray that you can feel God's healing hands around you.
