Whatnexter Nancebeth - You changed my life yesterday! A message of gratitude to ALL WhatNexters!

I've been on WhatNext since my diagnosis in January 2013. It's always been helpful - and I've been grateful for all of you. After yesterday - I'm more grateful than you could imagine. And I think Nancebeth may have saved my life -- or at least my left boob :). I am 5 weeks post-op and noticed some "slight redness" starting Tuesday that didn't get better but didn't get worse. I posted a question and within minutes I had an answer from Nancebeth. Not your typical answer... Nancebeth - I want to thank you for being BOLD, HONEST, OPEN, and SUPER SASSY :). Your blog and your willingness to share pictures of your girls is amazing. Because of YOU I went to the doctor first thing this morning - if it wasn't for YOU I would have watched it. Now I have strong antibiotics and the knowledge that it could be early cellulite *or* inflammation from that skin substitute thing they put under the TE.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Nancebeth and ALL who answer questions here. XOXO

Thank you my friend. I am so glad I could help. Having cancer sucks and it sucks when no one seems to understand what you are going through. I am super lucky that my PS is my friend and makes sure I stay in contact with him and know my own body. I am glad you could get something out of my blog. I write it as therapy for myself but if I help others, that is a big bonus!
