Hi KathyC, the only long term side effect I have is nephropathy. I got this from the chemo Cisplatin.

I recently got pain in my shoulder that traveled to my chest, neck and head. It was excruciating for about a week. Every morning I would wake with this pain. I would take a pain pill and in about an hour it would subside. It's getting less each morning now. They tell me it's from my scar tissue.

Hope this helps.....and your pain subsides.

I am 32 years out from two very harsh chemo regimens for two diagnoses of Hodgkin's. I live with pain every day, although now, after so many years I really can't point to the first or second chemo or if it's the side effects of the radiation I had 11 years ago, all I know is I hurt most every day. And then my working life doesn't help it either. I am always doing something around the house that I probably shouldn't.

I don't suffer from pain per se but the side effects from the surgery do make my life difficult and exhausting. I suffer from long term fatigue and find the older I get, the more those symptoms occur. I hope you have something medication wise that gives you some relief.

My CIPN started one week after I finished chemo. It is not as bad as it once was, but still have neuropathy in feet that limit how long I can be on feet.
