Who has a list of different colostomy supply outlets? I have a couple I've tried, but I've had trouble with blow outs

I can google just like anyone else, but when you order something that says it's "heavy duty", "built strong to withstand the rigors of daily life", that doesn't necessarily mean that it's so. But, you know, if it's on the internet it must be true, right? I have wasted over 300.00 so far on junk and I am interested in anyone that has real, honest experience with a supplier. Anyone?

It has been a long time but I had good luck with Convatec. Good luck!

I think you should see your wound care nurse to find out if you have an inverted stoma or not. I did and they have me a different sort of dressing made by Hollister and it helped stop blowouts. They didn't stop completely, but I had ileostomy for about a year and those are more active. I head to put a wax thing sound the stoma to get it to stop leaking. Good luck!

I've been very pleased with Convatec for my ostomy supplies. Great products. I've used McKesson online ordering site to purchase my ostomy supplies and have been very happy with this vendor. Great Service.

I had such a hard time finding the right products for me. Blowouts were horrible. Nothing was staying on more than a day or two and I was bleeding. I worked with two ostomy specialists and finally found a product that worked. But it took several trips to the hospital and lots of tears before the right products were found.
