Lots of times there are caregivers on the site, just not participating in the conversation unless they find something that strikes a chord with them. You can just post a question and see who answers you. Also, if you have prostate cancer specific questions, your question will be automatically sent to our prostate cancer Whatnexters by the Daily Digest. Ask away, you may find more here than you think.

One year after I was diagnosed with breast cancer my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer...he learned so much from my experience in terms of finding a team, questions to ask, etc. but I knew little about robotic surgery so I went to every appointment and we had our list of concerns...you don't say what kind of cancer your husband has but I would use his doctors as my first source of information and be sure you understand all terms...this site is also wonderful and you will meet people with all types of cancer...every experience is unique...good luck and God bless!

I have found a wonderful place for ladies only called ladies prostate forum. Like you I was dissatisfied after 1.5 yrs. of just asking and getting acceptable answers.

PCa really IS a couple's cancer, and some questions need to be asked and answered amongst women only, in a more comfortable setting. This forum is great for some experiences but sometimes we need to step out of the box.

Also yananow.org will give you some GREAT experiences to review for a lot clearer understanding of what to expect over time. Fact is there are a lot of sites and it a matter of figuring out which one fills your needs, kinda like church. Each is different but then we find "ours" and we stay.

      Good luck.
