      Yes Susie,

I understand what you are saying but it is something I have always been proud of, me! My name and my time are all that I have to give. Without my name, you will never really know who I am or anything about me other than what I tell you. A great setup for a scam and I should know, I've been scammed several times. Therefore I usually lead with my name:

      Michael V Metzger

born 23 April 1940 and adopted out 5th May 1940 to two wonderful people who were my parents and raised a most difficult child to be this adult(at lease I would like to think so :-) ) who is presently attempting to communicate with the world.

My place of contact which really tells you where I am is:

1292 Old Skokie Road, 2nd Flr. Highland Park, IL[phone number redacted]

Want to call? I mostly live and work out of my office now-a-days so you can get me at:

      [phone number redacted].

There is nothing decent that I won't talk about or discuss and there is not a question I will not answer save my SS#, bank account # and credit card #'s. :-) So there you have it everyone, I'm wide open and have been since I was 37 when my best friend died of liver and pancreatic cancer at the age of 42 and I said to myself, " what am I hiding from? Those who care will listen and those who don't won't."

Since we are all supposed to be here to help and support each other and since I have a logical mind which gets me into trouble all the time, to me, it is a complete waste of time to lie or shade the truth when the idea is to connect with others for support, comfort and information. Too many of us hide from truth and ourselves. You first have to accept yourself and then it is up to you if you desire to share yourself with other human beings.

I grant you that typing on a computer is not like holding a hand and seeing someone's response to what you have just said. Therefore, ALL the information that a person is able to share will bring back in spades the connection that all people are looking to achieve. Whether they admit it to themselves is a different subject. No one is alone by choice, there is always a reason why the person has withdrawn from society. Is it my job to bring them back in the fold? It is if I become aware of their loneliness and suffering. End Of This Story.
