Wig Donation
Asked by BubblyBetty on Friday, May 29, 2015
Wig Donation
I have a very nice, high quality wig to donate. I live in the Parma, OH area and would like to know the nearest place I could go to drop it off, or if there is someone in the area that could use it I would be happy to drop it off. It is short and darker brown - medium size.

I live in Akron, Ohio. Stewart's Caring Place would love to have it. They provide wigs at no cost.

I donated mine to the local American Cancer Society, they make the wigs available to women who cannot afford one. My onc RN took it for me as it is in the hospital.

Hi. I also live in Akron, Ohio and have received many free holistic treatments, yoga, attend a support group etcetera, as help with my will and 401 K at Stewart's. They have a wig bank and will accept it. I use a donated wig from Stewart's. I suggest looking on-line at their website and signing up for a free massage or Reiki if you should bring the wig to Akron. It is a wonderful non-profit facility started by an awesome woman, Mimi, whose husband died of cancer. I am so grateful for how Mimi and her friends who started Stewart's have helped save my life.
